Euphoric gratitude :straight from the heart...

Here is my first hand at poems ;) titled euphoric gratitude



Euphoric gratitude


Imploring in silence, I asked the lord in days of yore,
“Oh lord I crave for the toys,
Toys that make up the fairy tale”
Resting in the heavens, the lord wouldn’t pay heed!

Resting in Genuflect, I prayed to the lord when I was 20,
“Oh lord I crave for the knowledge; knowledge that is all encompassing,
And that makes me shine”
But there he was, latent, paying no heed to my yearning!

Beseeching and begging, I approached the almighty,
“Oh Lord, Grant me a love, the love of my life”
But he seemed riled and vexed,
Leaving me bereft!

And then I descried the ultimate reality.
When I would for no grounds or all grounds thank the almighty,
Without being distrait to what I actually possess
The everlasting euphoria dawned upon me.
That makes me say to the Lord in encore
“I thank Thee for everything!”

a happening day...incl. mysore palace visit...

visited mysore along with my parents..moved to a new room vijayanagar...its truly a fantabulous place with its serenity all thr to be felt...confused b/w choosing room no.11 or 13...nyway the decision is mine..... Had the privelege to visit the gorgeous Mysore palace...its quite a treat to the eyes lemme tell u...
saw my online mck4 results...not all tht gr8 must say...having said tht ther ws drastic improvrmnt in verbal with just 2 marks away for cutoff...incidentally all 3 were just a shade away frm the cutoffs...and consequently the overall too...buck up mate!!

Iam all GMAT for now...

With Gmat approaching, it is time to pull up my socks and do RCs, SC and CR regularly ...I shouldnt take quant for granted...should start review tests of CL ...Here we go the count down begins now with a little over 20days for GMAT and 4 months for CAT!!!

mixed emotions...

well, "the only thing constant in life is change" goes the old saying This has been particularly true in my life as far as my domicile is concerned....it all started off in 2003 when i moved out to calicut for 4 years .Then in mid 2007 had to reluctantly move to gurgaon with my sweet company Maruti Suzuki at the back of my mind(after all gotto lose "something" to gain "sumthing" ain't it?).Then came the most awaited moment of my company life in early 2008...I was transferred to my home town Bengaluru(hip hip hurray!!!).come mid 2009 , guess what happens??yeah ur right (no prixes 4 guessing though) ...off to mysore!...while iam happy being here as it is a fantastic place and is not much different from blore in many aspects,, I feel the pinch of dearly missing a lot in my home town.
These are some of them...My parents and family,Satsang with Guruji, Bawa's absorbing sessions, the gorgeous AOL Aashram and last but not the least all of my friends bak home...
Bak to mysore now ...have to go on an accomodation hunt tommorw morning( or shoukd i say today )...plan to drop in to Rohan's place.Hoping to make a lot of friends soon...that is one way you can beat the boredom of loneliness...

Auspicious occasion...

Today , on the Occasion of the Auspicious Guru Poornima , I have been transferred to Mysore From Bangalore :)
